First Dog Goes To Heaven
My first dog was a brown chow named Prince.
Even though I was only two I still rememeber how much I
loved him, he was like my bestfriend. Losing him was tragic for my family because he was a major part of our lives. -
My First Movie
My first movie was Mulan.This is very important to me because I was only four years old and it was my first time going to the movie theater. -
Ear Surgery
This was a very scary event for me. I was only 4 years old and I had to get stitches on the outside of my ear. The one thing I do remember is my daddy telling me before the operation that if I did a good job I could go to Toys R Us and get what ever I wanted! -
First Best Friend
This was the first day of kindergarten for me. I made a lot of friends but no one could compair to my best friend Taravia McLawhorn, and ten years from that date we are still friends to this day. -
Disney World
My favorite vacation would have to have been to Disney World.
The best part of the whole vacation was getting to eat lunch with cinderella -
First Concert
For my first concert my mom took me to go see Usher in Raliegh.I remember getting posters, tshirts, and singing my lungs out even though I couldnt sing. -
STARS! Twirl Studio
Every since I was four I had a passion for dancing, I also loved to twirl baton. I use to take lessons at a lady's house in greenville until she decided she didnt want to do this anymore. A couple years later my mom found a studio in Ayden called STARS! and that is where I have been dancing every since. -
First Pageant
The first pageant I did was the Ayden Collard Festival Pageant.
It was a lot of fun, I made a lot of new friends and also gained a lot of confidence. I was very blessed to win that year the title of Junior Miss Ayden Collard Festival Queen. -
Childrens Miracle Network
This was the first day I got involved with volunterring with CMN.
Each year I always help with the annual telethon. Getting to talk with the kids that are there and learning more about them makes me appericate what I have more. They have also me incouraged me to want to become a Pediatrician or Neonatal Nurse. -
Competition Team
After dancing at STARS! Twirl Studio I decided I wanted to step it up and audition for the competition team. A week after I tryed out I found out I made it onto the highest comany level. -
Top Groups Video
After being on the competition team for only a year I was able to travel with my team to compete in South Carolina. The Top Groups Video is a video with all the dancers who scored the highest that weekend in their category, and we were very blessed to be one out of the ten people who had the highest scores. -
America's Got Talent!
My Baton Studio had the chance to audition for americas got Talent. It was an amazing experience. We did not make it on the tv show, in fact we got cut the second round but just being able to say we got to try out was enough for us. -
Special Needs Pageant
After volunteering with the Special Olympics my dance studio decided we wanted to create another activity for the girls with special needs to do, so we decided to perpair a Special Needs Pageant. Each year a few girls are chosen, they pick their favorite dress to walk on stage and wear just like any other pageant, and at the end everyone gets a crown.It costs five dollars to watch and all procceds go to the Special Olympics -
RIP
This day was one of the worst days I had ever had. My favorite cousin passed away at the young age of twenty five the week after she finished medical school and the day after she had her first baby. She is now a part of the reason why I want to go to medical school and become a neonatal nurse. -
First Day of Highschool
My first day of Highschool was fun but nerve racking at the same time. I was really glad I was out of middle school because I was told being in highschool you have to learn how to be more independent and organized which I really needed. -
Majestic Crown
Pageants have now become a hobby to me. If I could do one every weekend I would. A Majestic Crown is the crown you recieve when you make the highest score out of everyone in the pageant. I was very blessed to be able to do this after only my fourth year of doing pageants. -
Globetrottres
The Globetrotters association called my Baton Coach and asked if my team would like to perform at their show they were having at ECU. We were able to perform three dances at the preshow, halftime, and postshow. -
Start of Something Special
This would be the day I started dating David Calhoun. I consider this a big point in my life because I met a person that trully cares for me and will always be there. -
Great Grandma
This would have to be the second worst day of my life. My one hundred and one year old grandma passed away. I will never forget this day because we had just become close within the past couple of years. Atleast she is now in a better place, and I will she her again one day.
