I broke up with my first boyfriend after a few weeks. I had learned the type of person he really was and it scared me and left me a little shook up. Although it left me hurt it was the best choice.

I was very nervous to start my first day of high school and I honestly was ready to just stay home and not show up. I am glad I did though because it led me to where I am today and I am forever happy I decided to show up.

My first long distance relationship
I started dating my best guy friend in Michigan before the end of my first year of high school. We lasted to November and we had tons of skype dates and lots of late night phone calls where we just kept talking until we woke up in the morning realizing we had fallen asleep. I wouldn't trade my time with him ever.

ECHS graduation
I graduated from ECHS 10 years ago. I made a lot of memories and friends here they helped me see what I really wanted in life and I am forever grateful for my choice to go there.

My wedding
I had a beautiful wedding ceremony with my college boyfriend on December 12th. It has been a long journey from college to where we are now but I wouldn't trade it for anything. We got married a day after the first December snowfall in Ann Arbor and it was truly amazing to marry another astronomy geek.

My spawn is born
I had my first child a little while after getting married and getting my newest promotion at work. We named her Padmé Rey after the two Star Wars characters Padmé and Rey. She is a little blessing and I couldn't ask for a better daughter. (and yes we watch tons of Star Wars in my household)
