May 13th, 2011 was a Friday the 13th. The day my life was changed, but things would be okay. My husband got injured in Afghanistan and lost his left lower leg.

My two wild and crazy dogs have been there as therapy for me. Allowing me to give them unconditional love 24/7 and allow me to be who I am.

The day I went into labor and we saw our daughter for the first time was the most amazing and speechless day for my husband and I. She was beautiful and we both fell in love the first second we set our eyes on her!! Our princess forever.

One graduate degree was not enough for me. When my daughter was born, I decided I wanted a career switch. She was 3 months old once I returned to school to obtain my second Master's degree except this was going to be in Education

My good friend Kate joined me on this new journey as teachers. We started together and we will finish this together.
