In 2015, You had the choice to buy Movies and TV Show Episodes and have it downloaded to your YouTube Account.

In 2016, an update was made, and with it, came a notification bell. This allowed you to get notified when a video from a channel you've subscribed to is uploaded.

Today, in 2017, YouTube has come a long way for 12 years, but there is still more to come with each new update.
