At the beginning of WWII, all Japanese-Americans were ordered into camps because they were seen as a threat to Americas. They were concentration camps for all the people that the US saw as a threat.

This battle was the turning point of the war since the US won. The US and Japan were island hopping to reach each other and it ended in a battle.

This was the beginning of the surrender of Japan. The US bombed Hiroshima to force Japan to surrender and end the war, but it took another bombing at Nagasaki to make them surrender.
