Japanese Internment camps
American-Japanese people were dragged from there homes and forced into living in camps after the attacks on Pearl Harbor. These were poor living conditions but not as horrible as the racism they faced from American people. Japanese were feared to be spies and put into camps and were then given apologies from the US Presidents in response This lasted throughout ww2.

Battle of Stalingrad
GErmany and it's allies fought against the Soviet Union for the city of Stalingrad. One of the deadliest battles in the history of warfare with an estimated 2 million casualties. Ended in 2/2/1943 with Germany's defeat and withdrawal.

Death of Hitler
Hitler after the fall of Berlin was cornered with his wife. He had her poisoned by cyanide and he shot himself knowing he was going to be captured and killed.
