This battle took place in central Alabama. United States forces and Indian allies under Colonel Andrew Jackson defeated the Red Sticks, a part of the Creek Indian tribe who opposed American expansion, ending the Creek War.

At 6:00 am, the British Naval fleet had begun attacking Fort McHenry. The American and British armies did very little damage to each other, and the British had retreated.

The Battle of New Orleans was the last objective for the British. The American Army fleet was led by Andrew Jackson, and was outnumbered by the British in both men and weapons. But this was a big win for the Americans, even though the war was already over.
