Congress adopts DOI
For many years our country was part of Great Britain, until we got sick of being bossed around and stould up for ourselves. We wrote a Declaration of Independence to split America away from Great Britain. The Declaration was signed on the Fourth of July in the year 1776. Then we were finally free. -

At the time of the expedition, Thomas Jefferson was president. Mr. Jefferson wanted maps made about the forest and outside their territory. He then picked Lewis & Clark for the job. -

CA Goldrush
The California goldrush was where people came from all over the world to strike it rich! Many were poor then and needed money, so once they heard gold was found in CA, the came from anywhere they were to find theirselves some. -
My birthday
I am 13 years old, I have one sister and she is 14, but we she is only 11 months older than me. So we're both the same age for a month. I love my mom with all my heart and i'm very respectful to my family.
