Arrival in Haro
Small town of La Rioja.
Almost on the border with Alava (País Vasco) -
Visit through the town
Upon our arrival we went to take something for Haro.
A well-known area called La Herradura.
Where there were many bars to eat. -

Wines
We both preferred white wine.
We could not be allowed to leave there without drinking wine! -
Apartment
we were lucky that our apartment was right next to the cathedral.
the bells were heard every morning.
The apartment was beautiful and very clean.
We loved it. -
Visit to the front
We went to a small town called the guard, in Alava.
It is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.
This small town is walled.
The truth had a special charm.
We really liked both of them. -
Typical food
throughout our visit we discovered a typical bread that was made in the village.
We take one for dinner.
It was very good.
we had a great day ...
until it started to rain!!!!!!! -
Marques de Riscal
Another thing that we could not stop doing was visiting a winery.
We chose the one of Marques de Riscal, since its building was quite impressive to see.

Visit to the winery
We made a small tour with a guide.
This showed us all the wineries and how was the whole process of the creation of the wine.

As expected we were shown all the types of grapes that existed. -
Wine tasting
At the end of the excursion, we were given to try different types of wines.
We learned a lot -
Food
To accompany the wine in the best possible way they gave us a small assortment of sausages. -
The end of te trip
To finish this fantastic trip, we went to a restaurant that they told us that they ate very well.
The food was incredible.
We will be back!!!
