At the begining we ride the animals because we don't have anything else. But with the invention of the wheel we could develope carriages and with that we improve the commerce and the people transport. -
It was a significant contribution because it liberate the animals for that hard work and it make the transport of everything faster. After it was invented there began to be carbon emissions but no one cared at the moment. -
Thanks to the technologic advances now we have transports able to transport people or goods very far.
