  • Dill arrives

    Dill arrives in Maycomb and befriends Jem and Scout

  • Dill goes home, Scout starts school, Radley tree

    Dill returns home and Scout starts the first grade. Jem and Scout also begin finding things in the knot hole of the Radley's tree starting with two pieces of gum

  • Spying on the Radleys

    Jem, Dill and Scout try to get a peak at Boo but Nathtan Radley shoots his shotgun to scare them off. Jem goes back for his pants and finds they are already folded for him.

  • Scout stats school again, more with Radley tree

    Scout has started the second grade. Jem and Scout find more stuff in the tree until Nathan Radley fills the hole with cement.

  • Tom Robinson is arrested

    Tom Robinson is accused of rape and is arrested.

  • Snow and a house fire

    It snows in Maycomb and Jem and Scout build a snowman that looks like Mr. Avery. Miss Maudie's home also burns down and boo puts a blanket around Scout.

  • Jem is punished

    Jem is punished for destroying Mrs. Dubose's camellias. Mrs. Dubose dis a couple months later.

  • Dill returns to Maycomb

    Dill comes back to Maycomb and the children, Jem, Dill and Scout, stop an angry mob from lynching atticus and Tom Robinson.

  • The trial begins

    The trial of Tom Robinson begins and Atticus publicly humiliates Bob Ewell. Tom Robinson is still found gulty of rape and is sent to prison. Tom Robinson later gets shot and killed for attempting to escape prison.

  • Bob Ewell tries to get revenge

    Bob Ewell has been trying to stalk the judge and threatened Atticus. Jem and Scout go to a halloween pageant and on the way back home they are attacked by Bob Ewell. Boo, however, was there and saved the kids and killed Bob Ewell.
