The Civil Constitution of the Clergy was the attempt to reform and regulate the Catholic Church. It was passed by the National Constituent Assembly. It followed other measures taken by the Assembly against the church. This included the abolition of feudal dues, the confiscation and scale of church lands and the suppression of tithes.

United States Instituted conscription during the Civil War. It led to a series of draft riots. The french needed a bigger and stronger army which led the French Government decreed a levee en masse. This conscripted into military service able bodied men between ages 18 and 25.

Marie married Louis XVI when she was only 15. Her and Louis became all of the excesses of the reveled French Monarchy. When she married him she became a target instantly of the Great Deal. Marie was arrested and tried for crimes against the French Republic. She was then sent to the guillotine and was killed.

The architect of the French Revolution by the name of Maximilian Robespierre is overthrown and then arrested by the National Convention. As a leading member of the committee of public safety, encouraged the execution by the Guillotine. Right after the day of his arrest, Robespierre and some of his followers were guillotined before a happy cheering mob.
