Boo's father conivenced the judge to have boo be on house arrest than the other consequences. " the sheriff hadn't had the heart to put him in the jail alongside Negroes, so Boo was locked in the courthouse basement... Miss stephine crawfored said some of the town council told Mr. Radley that if he didn't take Boo back, Boo would die" -
Dill comes to town
This summer jem and scout have a suprise vistor in their neghborhood, Dill Harris, comes to stay with his Aunt Rachel and realizes it was the best choice ever with Jem and Scout as neighbors. "He said that it began the summer Dill came to us. When Dill first gave us the idea of making Boo Radley come out" -
Mad dog
When a rabies dog is let loose in the neighborhood the sheirf hands the gun to Attticus, Atticus shots the dog in the street. He got the dog on the first shot. His children were very shocked when they figured out he wa that god with a gun. ch 10 -
GunShot
Jem, Scout, and Dill try to look in Boo’s window. Nathan Radley fires a shotgun. everyone around town is told it was a Negro. Jem looses his pants when they get stuck and ripped while running in fear of the gunshot. ch. 6 -
The start of the trial
Atticus agrees to defend Tom Robinson. He is accused of raping Myella Ewell. " He had annouced in the school yard the day before that Scouts Finch's daddy defendeds niggers." ( Ch.9) -
Camellias
When jem is angry at the mean things Mrs. Dubose says about his family, he cuts off every top of her camellias. "He did not begin to calm down until he had cut the tops off every camellia bush Mrs. Dubose owned, until the ground was littered with green buds and leaves." ( Ch. 11) -
Aunt Alexanda
Aunt Alexanda is atticus controlling sister, that "fears" that scout doesnt have any femine role modles and won't know how to be a girl without her being there to show her. So Aunt Alexanda moves in with the Finch family. Ch 12 -
The Trial
the day of the trail is here, everyone is nervous. When atticus goes up to ask questions to Mr. Ewell answers them but is very nervous and not very confident with his answers. When it is Ms.Ewells turn she freaks out and says that she isnt going to anser any of his quetsions because he "mocks and attacks her" Ch 16-21 -
Guilty?
Tom is found guilty and it really messes with Atticus head. ' Atticus put his hand on Tom's shoulder as he wishpered. Atticus took his coat off the back of his chair and pulled it over his shoulder . Then left the courtroom but not by his usual exit." Later Tom tried to escape prision and was shot and killed. -
the attack
One night after Souts play, him and jem were walking home late at night when they were attacked. Jem was serioucly injured but would have been more injured if Boo radley didnt come save him and kill the attacker, Mr. Ewell. He then carried jem home. Later Scout walked Boo home. Ch. 28-30
