    Maximilien Robespierre come to power as a Member of the Committe of Public Saftey. Ironically, he is responsible for many beheadings, and was eventually beheaded himself.

    A period where the main leaders of the revolution (Robespierre) were extremly paranoid about people wanting to sabatage the revolution. So everyone that they thought were traitors, they beheaded.

    Robespierre says that he has a new list of traitors, but he didn't reveal the new list. Worried that they might be on the list, the other members of the new government arrest Robespierre. He tries to commit suicide, but fails. He is then beheaded, marking the end of the French Revolution.
