    Thirty Year’s War
    This war started in 1618 all over religion an continued until 1648. During this period, being the longest war in world history and over 8 million deaths this war hast lasted 30 years. This event has not only shed innocent blood but began as a war for religion. In the end, the war became a war of ruler ship to govern Europe. Nations fought and killed for power not righteousness. Ferdinand II forced people into Catholicism which caused more tension towards all nations.
  • English Bill of Rights

    English Bill of Rights
    In 1689 the Bill of Rights was signed into affect. The people of the United States felt they had no rights while the government reigned so the Bill of Rights was put in place for that purpose. This guarantees civil rights and liberty to a person. The bill of rights gives 10 amendments to the citizens of freedom of religion, speech. to bare arms, etc. This has been such a big impact on the people of the U.S. because it has let them live a little easier, safer and somewhat happier.

    Starting all because the Holy Roman Emperor of Habsburg Monarchy, Charles VI, died. Leaving Charles VI niece, Maria Theresa, the heir to Austria. Fredrick II, ruler of Prussia, decide to take over Hapsburg since because a woman was ruling then war started. Austria being richest province of Habsburg, Fredrick seeing opportunity to invade and take over. Life's were lost but help from Britain, Austria gained power back again. The war ended in 1748.

    In year 1765 the British government passed the stamp act. It was to tax all paper to help build revenue to pay back debt and keep British army afloat. At this time colonies argued it was no law to tax and violence started. Years passed and colonist raised against Britain. The Stamp Act was important role in 1765 to build strength and power.

    The war began in 1775. Britain trying to take over North America, war broke out. France and Spain joined the war against Britain. The war secured US independence from Britain.
  • Treaty of Paris

    Treaty of Paris
    Treaty of Paris 1783 was Britain finally recognizing the American Independence. Britain gave up most of the territories to America which made America bigger in size. This also stopped the costly American Revolutionary war. It was so important that this took affect for the American people.

    French Revolution was a troubled and confusing time between 1787 & 1799. Due to dissatisfaction between French Monarchy and King Louis started this all. They were unable to secure a stable government and that's why the French Monarchy ended. This was the most important incident in European history.

    A major event for the French after the French Revolution, they had taken a oath being said "not to separate and to reassemble wherever necessary, until the Constitution of the kingdom is established" This was to make sure that political power came from the people and not the French Monarchy. On the June 20, 1789 the Tennis Court Oath was put in affect.

    Storming of the Bastille
    The attack on the Bastille Prison came from the Parisians making a statement they wanted dictatorship. This became a important moment which started the French revolution and King Louis XVI and wife, Marie Antoinette were executed.
  • Reign of Terror

    Reign of Terror
    For one year violence accrued between the Girondins & the Jacobin. This wicked time was meant to purge out the invaders that came into France. Many were executed and arrested. They suspended the rights of suspects which left only execution. 300,000 people arrested, 17,000 execute and about 10,000 died in prison.
