1) Brainstorming
Think of possible ideas or topics you would like to write about. Free write or let your ideas flow until you form a fully developed topic. Then plan which ideas you will use in your writing. -
2) Writing/ Revision/ Editing
Don't pay close attention to grammar and spelling at this stage. Make sure to free write in order to help flesh out ideas. Revisit and revise the ideas you currently have. Your writing can change a lot at this stage due to adding, moving, and removing certain parts of your written text. Now it is time to check your grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity of ideas. It is often useful to peer edit since other people can find mistakes you made that you were unable to see. -
3) Publishing
Your piece of writing is now complete. You are now ready to share your work in any medium that you would like.
