  • Typewriter

    Typewriter
    A typewriter is a mechanical or electromechanical machine for writing characters similar to those produced by printer's movable type. We were able to encounter a typewriter, although wasn't able to use one as the typewriter that we had was not functional.
  • Newspaper

    Newspaper
    Newspaper is a periodical publication containing written information about current events. Newspaper is a useful information provider especially during that time. Moreover, newspaper is a handy information provider which you can bring unlike TV and the likes. Our parents, especially our fathers, are fond of reading newspapers; thus, we were encouraged to do so too. Although we mostly read the comic part only.
  • Television

    Television
    Television (TV) is a telecommunication medium used for transmitting moving images in monochrome (black and white), or in color, and in two or three dimensions and sound. Television is one of the most used information provider. As a kid, we have loved watching television shows for fun.
  • Radio

    Radio
    In radio communications, a radio receiver, also known as a receiver, wireless or simply radio is an electronic device that receives radio waves and converts the information carried by them to a usable form. Radio is another device that was introduced to us in our younger years. We have grown to listening to radio dramas and news because of our parents.
  • Book

    Book
    A book is both a usually portable physical object and the body of immaterial representations or intellectual object whose material signs—written or drawn lines or other two-dimensional media—the physical object contains or houses As we grew up, we were introduced to reading books to expand our vocabulary. In our perspective, books are very important reading material that one should have for it not only gives us information but it also tells us stories beyond our world.
  • Telephone

    Telephone
    A telephone, or phone, is a telecommunications device that permits two or more users to conduct a conversation when they are too far apart to be heard directly. A telephone converts sound, typically and most efficiently the human voice, into electronic signals that are transmitted via cables and other communication channels to another telephone which reproduces the sound to the receiving user. Telephone was introduced to us but was never able to use one.
  • Game Console

    Game Console
    A video game console is a computer device that outputs a video signal or visual image to display a video game that one or more people can play. Game Consoles, such as Gameboy and PSP, are one of our favorite device as it was one of our way of having fun during the times when the usage of internet was not so rampant.
  • Mobile Phone

    Mobile Phone
    A mobile phone is a portable telephone that can make and receive calls over a radio frequency link while the user is moving within a telephone service area. The first mobile phone that we saw was a Nokia 3310. Phone became widely used as it is portable unlike the telephone. It was the gadget that we use to play games before we encountered the Game Consoles. We also loved playing Snake and Space Impact on the said device
  • Computer

    Computer
    A computer is a device that can be instructed to carry out sequences of arithmetic or logical operations automatically via computer programming. We were able to use computers when we were in elementary mostly for academic purposes.
  • Application software

    Application software
    Application software (app for short) is computer software designed to perform a group of coordinated functions, tasks, or activities for the benefit of the user. As we encountered today's phones, we were also introduced to some applications which we commonly use nowadays. These applications are very useful as it relays message almost instantaneously as long as you are connected to the internet. Though, most applications we use are for fun and enjoyment.
