Rasputin, a Russian holy man, is murdered by Russian upper class (nobles) in order to end his influence on the Russian royal family. After attempts by the criminals to poison him failed he was shot at close range (which did not intially kill him he rose and beat one of his attackers) then was shot again. -

It ended with the communists the winners, after multiple years of hard fighting. While there were many causes for this conflict ranging from political and social conditions, many conclude the after math of the Great War lead to the fighting. -
