In 1915 Czar Nicholas takes full control of the Russian Army. A decision that will play a major role in the revolution. Because he assumes all responsibility for the actions of the army, people begin to blame him for all the losses Russia incurs throughout the war.

In Petrograd, citizens fed up with the Czars rule protest. Out of the Chaos came a provisional government.

Czar Nicholas abdicates his throne, he and his family are placed under house arrest. Russia government switches to a provisional government.

Vladimir Lenin and the Bolsheviks lead a second revolution that overthrows the provisional government and installs Lenin as the new ruler of Russia.

The new Russian government signs the treaty of Brest-Litovsk ending their involvement in WWI

Czar Nicholas and his family are executed to end any claim to the throne they may have in the future, further cementing the new government.
