Britain kept impressing U.S. sailors, and Native Americans started attacking northwestern U.S. because they were influenced by the British supplying them with weopons. U.S. declares war in June of 1812. Tvhe boundries stayed the same in favor of the U.S. Since there was no "real winner" the two countries became good traders. http://www.baltimoreorgan.com/organ/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1124:united-states-declares-war-&catid=24:historicalflash&Itemid=50

Andrew Jackson is appointed as the commander in Georgia to put an effort towards fighting the Creek Indians in the south. This move by the U.S. government might have been a decider in who "won" the war in the end. If Jackson wasn't in control there the indians might have took control of the south. http://americangallery.wordpress.com/category/jarvis-john-wesley/http://americangallery.wordpress.com/category/jarvis-john-wesley/

Andrew Jackson took his 5,000 soldiers and defeated a British force with 7,500 soldiers. This battle was actually fought two weeks after the treaty was signed to end the war. That happened because news didn't used to travel very fast so they were fighting in the south before anyone told them the war was over.
