The Mystery of Boo Radley

  • Fact one

    Boo Radley was sent to the state industrial schedule for disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, assualt and battery, and using abusive and profane language in the presence and hearing of a female. Mr. Radley (elder) got him out with a promise that he would behave. Boo was not seen again for 15 years.

    Boo stabbed his father with scissors and his mom declared that he was killing them all.

    Mr. Radley wouldn't allow Boo (33) to be locked up in an asylum, so he was locked in the courthouse basement. Eventually, Mr. Radley was told he had to bring Boo home.

    Jem and Scout want to leave a message in the tree for whoever is giving them stuff in it, but when they get down there, the hole is filled with cement. Mr. Nathan said it was dying and that's what you do with dying trees. Atticus said that it looked fine to him and he didn't know why Mr. Nathan would do that.
