2700 B.C. The Old Kingdom begins. This reign started with a strong leader, King Menes, and as a unified Egypt.

2180BC An Intermediate Period starts for the first time. This period lasted around 145 years, and was a time where there wasn't a centralized leadership in Egypt.

2055BC The Middle Kingdom begins in Egypt. This reign was a golden age of stability. There was wide expansion of Egypt into Africa and western Asia.

1500BC The New Kingdom begins in Egypt. Egypt becomes the most powerful empire in Southwest Asia, through campaigns for their military.

1470BC The pharaoh Hatshepsut, who was a woman pretending to be a man, dies. Thutmose III takes her place and becomes pharaoh.

1364BC Akhenaten or Amenhotep IV, became the new ruler of Egypt. He begins a cult of monotheism, many disputes started because of religious disagreements.

1347BC King Tutankhamen brought back the polytheistic religion back to Egypt. He is better know as King Tut.

1279BC Ramses II becomes king of Egypt. He fights to regain the lands they lost, lands in Africa and western Asia.
