    • When we first discovered mining 40 000 years ago I read that we used bones and flint to mine I am not sure if it is true or not

    it extemely helped the mining indistry

    Dynamite sped up mining but also made higher chances of the roof calpsing

    when we're mining we encounter toxic gasses underground and since 1949 we have used methanometre to detect them

    now with better lighting in mines such as led lights

    Now we have drills and better equipment we don’t have to work as hard as are ancestors did

    Now with all of new machines and tools for mining they’ve become quicker than when they used pickaxes

    In mines they have fans/vents to take out all the gasses so it becomes safer
