The History of Macayla

  • Birth

    Birth
I was born 6lbs 7oz on an early morning in Chandler Regional Hospital. My older brother who was 1 at the time, gave me a little stuffed animal duck, welcoming me to the world. My family surrounded the bed and all got a chance to hold me.
  • New Home

    New Home
We moved into a big house where i ended up growing in for about 7 years. We became bestfriends with our neighbors and always ran back and forth between eachothers houses. My mom would play drive through with us, where for lunch she would open us the window and we would ride by in our little toy cars and order our lunch. She also bought us an above the fround pool that'd we swim in nearly everyday. On cool summer days, we would create massive street art with chalk.
  • Sister's Born!

My little sister Skylar is born! She is only a year and 1/2 younger than me. She was also born in Chandler Regional Hospital. It was this day, that would change my life forever and she would grow up to be my partner in crime.
  • Little brother is born!

    Little brother is born!
It was predicted by my older brother (who was 4 at the time) that my mom was going to have a baby boy. To her suprise, she had a little boy named Camden. Camden is definately a handful, but hes my little brother and he always siezes to amaze me.
  • Drive Back East

My family took a 5 day drive up to New York. Considering my mom had 4 children under the age of 4, it's pretty impressive she could spend 5 days nonstop in a car with us. She said we were on our best behavior and it was a rememerable 7 week trip. We slept in the car and when we got to New York we visited our relatives. Finally after a few weeks of visiting, we drove up to Pennsylvania and back down to Kentucky.
  • Desert Devils

    Desert Devils
I attended Desert Devils Gymnastics with my 2 brothers and sister. We always had special privelages, since my mom was a coach. After gym class, we would all run around the gym and watch movies in the back. Often, the employees gave us money to buy a snack or they'd give us free swimming lessons.
  • A Wyoming Christmas

It was Christmas morning and me and my siblings were in Wyoming visitng our dad. Before we ran downstiars to see our presents, our dad had informed us the dog had knocked down the Christmas tree late last night. After we had a laugh, we ran down and to our suprise was 3 beautiful sleds, money and the latest ipods. We were estatic and took the sleds out to the yard and rode down the hill for hours. It was definately a rememberable Christmas!
  • First Vacation to Wyoming

When my parents got a divorce, my dad moved to Wyoming and took a job as a caregiver on a million dollar ranch in Jackson, Wy. The guy who owned the house, invented the Adobe and we get the privelage to live on his ranch every summer with our dad. We get to ride quads, snowmobile, kayak, tube and ride horses all in our backyard. I look forward to this trip every summer.
  • Family in town

We hardly ever see my moms side of the family, so when they come down to AZ its a big deal. We started the week off with going to the Renissance Festival. It had been the 1st year, wever ever gone to the Renissance. The enviornment is lively and exhilerating. The next day we went the Castles and Coasters where we rode go-carts, played mini-golf and rode rollercoasters! After the exhausting day we went out to Rustlers Rooste where we sat outback and watched the sunset over Pheonix.
  • Dobson Academy

In 5th grade, I went from being homeschooled to attending a charter school called Dobson Academy. 5th grade was the best year of my life and it was here I established strong connections with friends and teachers. I learned alot about myself here at Dobson and was able to meet my bestfriend. We have been bestfriends since the 5th grade and will be lifelong friends. Since Dobson Academy was a smaller school, all the students grew really close and we became like family.
  • California Vacation

One of my most memerable vacation was when my family got to go to San Diego. We rented a Charger and drove in style to Cali. On our way, we stopped at Seaport village which was one of the most beautiful places ive ever been. We got to walk around to the little shops than left to go to Hungington Beach. We played in the waves and walked down to 'W' to get subs for lunch and ate on the warm sand.
  • 1st Puppy!

For Christmas a few years ago, my mom suprised us with a little puppy who was going to be Euthanised. He had a little cast on his leg from him jumping off a bed and breaking it. He was only 1/2 a year old and was a German Shepard Rotweiler mix. Although he was a wild handful, he was our little baby andalways greeted us by jumping and licking us to death.
  • Foster Kids

Chloe and Gabriel Hermisello, came into our home on March 25, 2014. Chloe (10) and Gabriel (9), were dropped off at our home in need of a family. We've been fostering the siblings for almost a year now and they have grown to be a part of our family. We hope they can stay with us for a long time.
  • Track

I started track for the first year here at Mesquite. The coach is really tough and we have to do lots of drills and speed start ups. Unfortunately, I got shin splints and from working out to intensly and quickly jumping into a rigorous sport. I've never done track before and am excited for the season.
  • Licensed!

I finally got my license! After months of driving around with my mom and studying the rules of the road, I passed the test. I had to get enough courage to go, because it's nerveracking. Im so excited to be able to drive places on my own and not need to rely on my family or friends. Although it was scary taking the drivers test, Im glad I'm finally licensed.
