    Because of rising anger and growth in the Nationalist party, the chinese nationalists kick out Emperor Puyi and establish Sun-Yatsen as the first president. Sun-Yatsen was the leader of the Kuomintang.

    The Balkan peninsula is the origin of the Great War because of the different peoples across multiple countries because of the Ottoman Empire giving up many countries. A Serb kills the Austrian archduke Ferdinand and Austria declares war on Serbia. Because of this murder the Austrians declare war on Serbia.

    The Germans had been harassing the United States in the form of civilian terrorism so the United States reacts to this terrorism by entering the war on the side of the Allies. Arguably the United States won the war for the Allies because the Germans were very close to Paris when the Americans intervened.

    Mustafa Kemal comes into power after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. He separates church and state and industrializes the economy. He turns the old Monarchy into a Republic and establishes himself as the head. He becomes known as attaturk.

    Mao Zedong lead the Communists in the Civil war but he is extremely outnumbered by the Nationalists so he flees away from southern china into northern china which was a 6,000 mile long walk. This is known as the Long March.
