    Woman in France riotted over the high price of bread and its scarcity. This act was a major inspiration to the revolution.
  • Execution of King Louis XVI

    King Louis XVI was executed by guillotine on January 21st, 1793. He was put on trial for treason and was found guilty. Nobody voted "Not Guilty"
  • Execution of Robespierre

    Robespierre and 21 of his followers were executed by guillotine in front f a cheering mob.
