The King had kept all the bread to himself, and since the people of France mainly lived off of bread, the Bread March needed to be done.

    KingLouis King Louis XVI was killed on January 21st 1793. His cause of death was by the famous Guillotine. After the King being convicted of conspiracy with foreign powers, he was sentenced to death. He was killed in the Place de la Revolution in Paris.

    MarieAintoinette On October 16th, 1793, Marie Antoinette was taken to Place de la Révolution, where she was guillotined. Her last words were, "Pardom me sir, I meant not to do that". She had directed these words to the executor, who's foot she had stepped on after climbing the scaffold.
