France is out of money
The king was forced to call a meeting with the estates general, French parliament.The representatives from the three estates met at the Versailles palace and voted on if the first and second estate should pay taxis, of course the third estste was out voted so they stormed out and decided to make their own parliament called the 'National Assembly'

France went bankrupt because they were spending a lot of money fighting agenst England and it didnt help when the queen was spending a lot of money on expensive parties, dresses and so forth.There was bad harvest,food shortages,prices went up,the third estste was starving and were angry that they had to pay taxis, so when the philosothers came and they herd their ideas they started to rebel.

The National assembly was forced at a nerby tennis court. The plain was to create a document with rights the French people should have. This document is called the Declaration Rights of Man.

The Bread March
Thousands of woman and men marched from Paris to Versailles. They were armed with broomstickes,pitchforkes,swords,pistols,and muskets.They wanted the king to listen to their demands about food and they wanted KIng Louis to sighn the D.R.M.

Bread March Results
Thousand of women break into the gates and slaughtered the gards,their heads were cut off and put on pikes.King Louis and Marie Antoinette were captured and forced to sign the D.R.M. All the food and the king and queen were brought back to Paris.

The royal family was under house arrest in their palace in Paris. One night the king and his family got in their royal carrige trying to head to Austria. When they almost made it to Austria they were spotted and captured and was brought back to Paris.

Results of the French Revolution
Its an end of the monarchy in Europe.People now have rights and freedoms, in France their are no longer the three estates, so the 3rd estste gained a lot and the 1st and 2nd lost everything.
