    The National Assembly issued the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, which outlined everyones basic rights, for every citizen of France. It's significance was that it was a huge victory in favor of the revolutionaries and it meant that they would all be able to live much more comfortably.

    The Parisian women of the marketplace of paris were outraged over the high price of bread that was available to them. They grouped together and crowds of thousands marched to the royal palace in versailles. After a viloent demonstration at the palace Louis and his family were forced to move to Paris. The significance of this happening was that the revolutionaries now had some contol over the monarchy and Louis no longer had complete power.

    King Louis and his family attempted to flee Paris so that they could start a counter revolution. However they got stopped short in the town of Varennes where a man named Jean-Baptiste Drouet recognized Louis from his face on the coin. The significance of this was that it put the royal famly in a very bad position as they were now under the spotlight for treason.

    King Louis XIV was sentenced to the guillotine. This was extremely significant to the French Revolution because it showed the revolutions success! Louis XIV was the entire reason that the revolution started. From his terrible ruling, to his splurging he was the wrong leader of France. And the people recognized that and they set out to fix it.

    Throughout the revolution, Marat was one of the key players. He was the author of the famous newspaper 'L'Ami du Peuple". The significance of his death was that he was able to do so much for the revolution. And without him the revolution never would have been able to go the way that it did.

    In this timespan one of the Frenchs darkest periods of history occured. This period of time was known as The Terror. During The Terror 20.000 to 40.000 people were sentenced to death by the guillotine. This brought the entire country to a constant fear as they never knew who would be sentenced to death next. Although the main reason behind sentencings was conspiracy against the revolution basically anything could get you killed. The Terrors significance was it showed how quickly countries fail.

    Robespierre was able to influence the entire nation of France. His skills in politics allowed him to control an entire nation to turn against their king and their old ways that they had used for centuries.
