    The Estates-General was an assembly arranged between Louis XVI and the three deputies created to stop the economic crisis caused by the debts to other European countries due to French intervention in the AWI.
    Each deputy brought its own cashier of dóleances, that collected their main proposals and complains.
    Additionally, this period was marked by a political and social crisis, due to absolutism and the rigid Estate social system.
    In the meeting, the vote was unequal for the 3º estate people.

    The National Constituent Assembly

    It was a revolutionary assembly formed by representatives of the 3º Estate that were later joined by some nobility and clergy.
    It was created because of the King's refusal to allow an individual vote to the 3º estate, which was one of their most important grievances from the cahier de dóleances.
    People were alarmed because of the amount of troups that watch over the cities.
    That is why poeple in Paris took the streets with the Storm of Bastille 14-July-1789, beginning of the Popular Revolution.

    The Storm of Bastille
    During this event, Parisian revolutionaries and muntinous troops stormed and dismantled the Bastille prison, which was conceived as a symbol of Royal Authority and tyranny, although few people were prisoned there.
    This dramatic action signed the beginning of the French Revolution.
    The main reason of it was the excesive amount of Troops in the Frech streets due to the king's fear of a popular sublevation.

    Legislative assembly

    This was the National parliament of France that replaced the National Constituent Assembly.
    During it the monarchs tried fleeing to Austria but they were brought to Tuleries Palace.
    1ºEuropean Constitution 1791 was done, accepted by Louis XVI against his will.
    France was then Constitutional Monarchy with vote to men under certain conditions. Separation of powers was settled.
    Monarchs secretly creat the 1º Coalition.
    This is discovered and Kings are arrested on August 1792 due to public opinion.
