We are leaving Sweeden ,[Europe] to go to Texas. Our names are Hugo Persson [50 years old grandpa],Violia Persson[48 year old gramma] and Adam Hugosson[10 year old boy].We are leaving because of the Napoleonic wars.

We are getting on a boat to travel to Texas. Other Sweedens are comming with us , but not on the same boat. We are gathering food and water for are long trip to Texas.

Right now we are on our boat.We are planning to enter in Galveston. From there we are going to travel on a wagon to Austin.

We have finaly arrived at Galveston! Tommorow we will buy a wagon to travel to Austin.

This morning we bought a wagon,and gathered some food and water. Now we are leaving Galveston.

We just found a lot of fruit trees and a streem.So we thought about gathering some more food and water.

After a long journey we have finaly arrived at Austin! Now we think that all are hard work has paid off. We loved that long,long journey! We are so happy that we are not in a war! Now it is time to start a new life in Austin,Texas!
