Tehnology timeline.

John Sheppard Barron invented the ATM in 1967, however it did not become very popular until the 1980's. ATMs have had a huge impact in us since it makes money more accessible for all of us. It can help if you are in foreign country or need to take out cash for your daily needs instead of always needing to go to banks. ATMs are found in many places now such as grocery stores and restaurants.

Ray Tomlinson invented email back in 1971. This invention has enhanced our lives especially since almost everyone uses email. It now allows us to send messages and help us communicate. This helps us in many way whether it may be work, school, or just communicating with friends.

Ralph Baer invented the Magnavox Odyssey. Also know as Pong this was the first at home gaming console ever invented. This technology set the stage for gaming systems we have now like Xbox, PC, and PlayStation. Video games have become more normalized over the years where even parents own their own gaming systems. It all started with just a simple game of pong. Now we have video games that allow you to explore open worlds.

Martin Cooper invented the first handheld mobile phone back in 1973. We see mobile phones every day of our lives. These are a great benefit since it allows so many people to call friends and family from afar. This also has allowed many people to call for help or be able to use a phone from anywhere to reach someone they need.

Steve Sasson created the camera using old parts he found around the Kodak factory while working there. We now use cameras almost everyday. Photos can help us capture moments in our lives. I think this is a huge benefit because it has allowed technology to grow where now we can even edit photos.
