Shan Interviewed and got selected to work at Hodgson. The job position was offered with health benefits and a mix of commercial and residential projects. In the end, none of these promises were kept and shan ended up working in residential projects. The design process was repetitive and cookie-cutter design.

Engine Digital was Maria's ideal place. She saw a team that talked the same language and felt she was going to be able to contribute in good quality level design. After successfully completing all the 6 rounds of application including the 360 culture interview, she was not taken because she didn't have her work visa.

Maria started her 6-month internship at Loop Insights, a Canada-based data intelligence company.

For Doctors of BC, the illustration was done by Famberlin, in Colombia. He is a great talent and is a motivated collaborator. He enjoys being involved in the design processes.

The study program gave Maria the study visa to come to Canada (1-year program 6 month study, 6-month internship).

Collaboration for building Doctors of BC board game characters in 3D. The final models were setup for 3D printing.

We adapted our living room to our home office with 2 desks and one round table for collaboration. We also designed and hand-made a Tardigrada sign for the entrance.

We also saw the quality of the local design industry. We had talks on our couch. We knew of a couple of entrepreneurs that started their businesses in Canada and made us confident things in Canada were feasible.

Maria was offered Ballistic Arts contract job position with the condition of sorting out the work visa on her own. The work consisted of real estate graphics and marketing materials which was not Maria's interest. The position was accepted to pay our bills and the job position continues to this day due to their flexibility that allows us to spend some of our time in Tardigrada.

Sirish is a writer, art curator and art director of Indian Summer Festival in Vancouver. He gave us confidence and help us discover our potential.

Shan switched his job from Hodgson Design to Janks Design Group. This presented the opportunity to work on commercial interior design projects such as offices and restaurants which directly reflected Shan's interest. The initial offer was only a contract position for three days per week and included a pay cut from the previous job as well.

We research about starting a business. Types of ownership and business plan. We met Maulik, our current accountant who guided us on the type of partnership: incorporation. We set all documents and became a registered business on feb 26th.

For our website launch, we had 4 projects initially and was a static version of the current website. Doctors of BC, ARRIS, Snaptotes, and Chamber of Commerce.
