Senior Year Planning Calendar

  • Work on college & scholarhsip application essays

  • Check the college handbook's instructions to make sure you have done everything necessary for admission

  • Pick up financial aid forms from the counselor's office and complete

  • Apply to the college of your choice

  • Attend financial aid night with your parents.

  • Ask your parents to save their year-end payroll stub. You may need it for financial aid.

  • Period: to

    January

  • Complete financial aid applications. Submit your completed application for FAFSA as soon after Jan 1st as possible. You can complete a paper FAFSA, or complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

  • Keep copies of all forms you submit!

  • Work on college & scholarship application essays.

  • Check for upcoming scholarship deadlines

  • Submit Student Aid Report to the financial aid office at the college of your choice. Be certain your application is complete.

  • Complete FASFA if you haven't. Remember they are due FEB 1st.

  • Keep Copies of All Forms You Submit!

  • Look for Pell Grant program information in your Student Aid Report
