Russo was a war that Russia fought against the Japanese for warm water ports. Nicholas II made Russia go to war. He wanted to be recognized like all of the past czars for becoming a war hero, so he chose to go to war with Japan. Russia lost. -

This revolution was trying to transorm the autocracy Russian empire into a constituional monarchy. Strikes and assasinations were happening during the revolution. Bloody Sunday was also an event that happened. -

Bloody Sunday was a peaceful protest against Czar Nicholas II. Czar Nicholas II ordered the military to fire against the protesters. The protest was lead by a priest. -

Lennin ordered the Bolsheviks to capture the Winter Palace. Not many deaths happened. This lead to the civil war. -
Russian Civil War
The communist side were called the Red Army and the democratic/anti-comunnist army was called the White Army. America, France, and Russia. The Red Army won the revolution. -
Execution of Nicholas and his family
Nicholas II and his family were killed on July 17th, 1918. They were hated by the Russian people. This was a plan by the communist party. -
Decembrist Revolt
About 3,000 soldiers were protesting against Nicholas I. Took place in Imperial Russia. Nicholas I put an end to this protest, tearing apart the revolt.
