In World War 1 Hitler and Stalin signed a non- agression treaty saying that they wouldn't attack each other. This benifited both sides because Hitler was trying to invade France without fear of being attacked by Russia. Stalin signed this because he needed to build up his defences. Eventually, Hitler broke the treaty and attacked Russia.

The March Revolution was focused on Saint Peterburg. During the revolution the Duma attaned control of the country. The army felt like they didn't have a reason to get rid of the revolution.

After the Russo-Japanese war Nicholas ll was forced to abdicate the throne because a lot of people were mad at him for entering the war. Then in 1914 he sent them back into war, but this time they're weren't enough supplies for all of the soldgiers.

The civil war was fought between the red and white army. The red army was Bolsheviks, and the white army was mensheviks. The Bolsheviks won become they told the peasents that they would have a better life so they would fight for them.

While at his house in Gorki, Vladimir Lenin died from a series of Strokes. After he died there were two people that could take over, Stalin, and Trotsky.The results were that Stalin won.
