This is where Nicholas I takes throne over his brother. He tried to take advantage of confused government and military. Revolt against Nicholas I with no oath of loyalty. That failed. Nicholas was banished to Siberia. -
Nicholas II Becomes Czar
When Nicholas II took over for his brother. Nicholas was not the best Czar he was more of a family man then a leader. He made some mistakes and he gained the wonderful nickname of Bloody Nicholas. -
Russo Japanese War
There was conflict over the land. It was just Russia and Japan, and Russia thought they were going to destroy them but they ended up getting wrecked. The Russian economy gets worse and trust in Nicholas II decreases. -
Bloody sunday
On Bloody Sunday workers protested outside of the buisnesses. When the military guys came they killed a lot of people. After this event Nicholas got the new name Bloody Nicholas, and he lost a lot of peoples trust. -

Russia considered Germany to be their main threat. Russia had the most deaths in the Allied forces racking in 1.7 million deaths. They were one of the U.S.A's allies in WWI -
Nicholas abdicates the throne
The Bolsheviks arrested Nicholas II and his family. There were protesters of war and food shortages and the demonstraters were injured by czarist officials. This made Nicholas II give up. This is also the end of the Czars. -
March Revolution
The Russians were very angery because WWI cost them millions. There were many protests and riots and they got really bad and out of hand. -
Russian Civil War
The Bolsheviks made the communists and they were fighting the menshiviks. The bolsheviks were red and the menshiviks were white. The communists ended up winning the war. 6 million people died and this was the birth of the USSR. -
The U.S.S.R is Created
When the U.S.S.R was created Nicholas II and his family were arrested. He was also killed with his family. Vladimir Lenin was part of the bolshiviks and the main leader of the U.S.S.R. -
Vladimr Lenin death
Vladimir Lenin died from three major strokes. Lenin did survive from a assasination attempt were he got shot three times. When Lenin died thats when Joseph Stalin took over as leader of the U.S.S.R.
