Czar Alexander II Emancipates the Serfs
In 1861 Alex II emancipates the serfs, he thought it was wrong for the serfs to be forced to to live in bad conditions with a ruler. He thought that the serfs should be able to have freedoms like everyone else. -
Nicholas ll becomes Czar
He became Cazr after his father Alexander lll died. He did not want to become a Czar and didnt know how to rule. He was more of a family man and wanted to have fun. -
The Russo-Japanese War
the Russian fought Japan to distract Russia's people from their internal problem, and they wanted a warm source of water. As the result of a bad loss Russian Civilians were very angry and Russia had to leave Japan alone and let them take Korea. -
Bloody SUnday
Many workers walked to the Czars Palace to ask for better working conditions and an end to the war. the workers were protesting Nicholas ll ordered his troops to fire, killing hundreds of civilians. -
Russia WWl
Nicholas ll continues to fight the war even tho they have many casualties. Nicholas ll then decides to move to the front lines in St. Petersburg to command the army himself. Leaving Rasputin and Alexandra to rule Russia back home. -
The March Revolution
Russian Citizens wanted the soldiers back home and were mad because of the shortage of food. They also wanted a raise. -
Czar Nicholas ll Abdicates Throne
Nicholas ll abdicates the thrown after the loss to Japan, all parts of society are very mad by this. Many riots break out with the second one forcing him to leave the throne because his soldiers joined the riot as well. His family is later executed at what they thought to be a family photo. -
Russian Civil War
Bolsheviks red, Communist versus Mensheviks white. Lenin led the Bolsheviks and won, with a death total over 15 million. The Russian Economy was ruined, there was a famine, and they weren't trading. -

After lenins died there were two men in the rase to take over, Trotsky and Stalin tried to take over. After Stalin wins people realize how brutal he his, he forged many wars and made multiple five year plans that didnt really help much.
