A group of noblems lead a protest against Nicholas 1 over taking the thrown. The protest was unssucsessful because of bad organization. The czar then knew that the trust from the people was beggining to go down.

Nicohlas II was the last czar. He did not do much to help Russia at all. He actually lead them into more problems than helping them. He was crowned in the Ouspensky Cathedral.

Group of workers feel they need more equality. They go to protest directly to the czar and chief orders fire. The police killed over 100 people and injured many many more. This leads to more protests.

After Russia became involved they had realized that they were not prepared to fight and could not handle it. They tried to make peace with the other countries in the war. They then failed to get the peace they were requesting and had to give up some of their countries.

Riots and strikes begin. The goverment was tumlbing and Russaisn lost faith in the leadership. Shortly after Nicholas abdicated his throne.

Nicholas II was a terrible czar, he lead Russia into many costly events and did not have much of an idea of what he was doing to lead. Nicholas II was forced to abdicate and him and his famlily were taken to a palace were they were soon sentenced too death.

Two parties were in Russia; the Bolsheviks and the Mensheviks. They had their disagreements, causing a civil war to break out between them. Russia was torn apart. The mensheviks were defeaked and the USSR was formed.

Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was a group of countries coming together and forming a socialist group. They took over after the czar was gone, and they were pretty successful.

Lenin was a leader of the Bolshevik revolution and the beginning leader of the Soviet Union. When he died it really impacted Russia. He died at an earnly age and because he impacted Russias history so much his body was placed in a museum for rememberance.

Russia and Japan fought over Manchuria. Russia was not really prepared and Japan had lots of organization and plans leading them to a victory in the war.
