Down in the Domingue was found to be a lot of slavery. Colonial men were slave owners who worked for France by providing them with goods that could only grow in the warm weather. Many alliances were formed and broken throughout this time. Slaves gathered together to revolt and war spread. Over 500,000 people were in to gain freedom but the white people didn't like that. Being under France's control, there wasn't much freedom. But the slaves managed to gain independence, after violence spread.

The French Revolution was the first to undergo a war between the government and the people. A series of violent acts like the King's execution and the Reign of Terror were used to prove a point to France's society. It all started when a group of people declared that they wanted more freedom, and with that the people made up a constitution to oppose the government. Fights and wars broke out and and events escalated from there. Many were beheaded simply because people asked for more freedom.

The Enlightenment Thinkers time period was an awaking area where people established their wrong from right. People were able to speak up and introduce new ideas that would oppose the governments they lived in. Enlightenment thinkers like Mary Wallstonecraft and John Locke wrote novels to educate. The whole reason any revolution started was because of the awakening of government. Many argued that monarchy was good while others fought for a democracy based government. Chaos broke out everywhere.

This was the year when The Spirit of Laws was published. The Laws are a political theory that introduced the comparison between the three types of government. Many across Europe turned to this novel to see the flaws that shined through their form of government. This attempted to educate people on individuality. The Estates-General Meet was the first meeting of the French society since 1614. King LouisXVI was forced to discuss flaws and solutions to the issues in their society regarding financial failure. The oath took place as a form of voting. The two orders that based the voting were nobility and clergy. The general idea of the oath was to never separate themselves until a formal written document (constitution) has been proposed to France. The pledge was signed to protect the group against the king. The storming of the Bastille was the first event of destruction that lead to the French Revolution. The people had suffered starvation and poorness all because they couldn't keep up with King LouisXVI's laws. Around 3,000 fire-arms and 5 cannons were looted from inside the Bastille. A group of marchers had fought outside the Bastille and the governor was taken hostage. The Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen was a document used to propose against France's government. The set of laws promoted individuality and free speech. The idea was to make the society less of a monarchy and more of a democracy. The people wanted to have more freedom in expression and religion. During this time slaves brought immense money to France. By working endless days and doing hard labor on the plantations the slaves wanted freedom. A group of over 500,000 ex-slaves went to rescue the ones in poor condition. When the colonists tried to stop them, they grew angry and had no problem revolting. Mary Wollstonecraft was the writer of the Rights of Women. She introduced ideas for equality in an orderly society. A group of people had gathered in order to come up with the things they wanted to feel equal in. The death of King Louis XVI was the main event during the French Revolution. The people of the French national convention had sentenced the king to death, after committing treason, days before but the execution took place only a day after. His death symbolized a way of freedom for the people he discriminated all those years of his reign. The Directory was formed after the Reign of Terror broke out. 5 directors were in charge of monitoring the economic and political aspects of France. The Constitution of 1791 was formed by the National Assembly as the French Revolution took place. The document minimized the monarchy. More rights were given like voting and fewer taxes. Toussaint L'Ouverture established a constitution in order to equal the Domingue and France. The Constitution was not a fully determined document, therefore a French colony immediately declined the laws and took it into an act of violence. However the constitution only made the Domingue a French colony and not complete independence. L'Ouverture was imprisoned during the Haitian Revolution when the French grew angry because of him wanting and leading independence for the Domingue. They wanted to bring back slavery and reign higher than the people doing labor in the Domingue. A meeting was set to figure out the two's issues, but L'Ouverture was tricked and was imprisoned by the French. Dessalines was a governor general who claimed Haiti's independence.A slave revolt was the general fight to gain freedom. Dessalines took over after Napoleon decided he wanted to bring back slavery. Dessalines led Haiti into freedom by using his dictatorial power. He managed to publish a declaration stating independence. The Revolutions were mostly led by Simon Bolivar or "The Liberator". He used his knowledge from the Enlightenment Thinkers to help make certain places like Peru and Mexico free from Spain. The initial goal was to make all countries independent from Spain and to overthrow the power they held. Many wars broke out during the vicious process and a march took place over the Andes mountains with many troops. The Spanish were too stubborn to share power so they stepped down and the people were free.

His plan was to attack the Spanish by getting them from over the Andes Mountains. During this time he had to flee twice to Haiti, after being exiled. The Battle of Chacabuco was a battle taken place during the South American and Latin Revolution, taking place in Chile. The battle itself was only a leading point for future wars. The war broke out after Argentine was declared independent from Spain. Jose de San Martin led the revolution by embarking liberation. The goal was to destroy Spanish power in order to separate themselves. The Spanish surrendered and victory was declared on July 28, 1821.
