    Member from the third estate were inspired by the success of the American Revolution, so they started to question long standing notions about the structure on society. By quoting Rousseau and Volter they began to demand equality.

    A Great Fear Sweeps France

    The Great Fear began with the nobles hiring outlaws themselves to terrorize the peasants.Soon after that the peasants began to rebel or mostly demand about the taxes, women and men both leading a march to confront the responsible. King Louis and Mary Antoinette. The king and his family left meaning that there was going to be a change in power.

    Dawn of the Revolution

    The Dawn of Revolution is about how the Third Estate government had a view on Enlightenment and how to make their government better. They wanted the two more estates to contribute their new ideas. the idea was to get rid of absolute monarchy and also begin with representative government. They took this to the National assembly were they talked about this, later the third estate found themselves locked out of their meeting room they broke into a tennis court (The tennis court Oath).

    Bad Weather

    The cause of bad weather in 1780 caused wide spread cropped failure, resulting in a severe shortage of grain. The price of bread doubled in 1789 and many people began to starve

    France Debt

    Between 1770-1780 France went into debt because the spending of King Loui and Mary Antoinette. It was also because King Loui was very indecisive and allowed matters to drift.

    France Government In Trouble

    King Loui had little attention to his government advisers and had little patience of details of governing and had the queen which only added problems. She often interfered with the government and offered bad advice.

    By making people into different states it made them feel unfair and wanted to get what they wanted no matter what, therefore they created a rebellion.
  • The Meeting Of the Estates General

    This was an assembly of representatives of the three states, so they would approve the new taxe of King Loui. The meeting was the first in 175 years and was held in May 5 1789.
  • The Rights of Man

    The document was a reflect on the influence of the declaration of independence it stated that man are born and remain free and equal in rights, this rights include liberty, property, security and resistance to oppression. It also gave citizens equal justice, freedom of speech and freedom of religion.
  • A Limited Monarchy

    In September 1791 the national assembly completed the new constitution, the constitution created a limited constitutional monarchy. It's stripped the king of his clothes and of mush of his authority, It also created a new legislative body this body had the power to create laws and to approve or reject declarations of war.
