    The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade was the buying, transporting, and selling of Africans for work in the Americas. While this was going on, 300,000 Africans were transported to the Americas. By the time this ended, over 9.5 million slaves had been imported into the Americas.

    This was the bloodless overthrow of English King James II. Parliament was angered by James II’s actions and the possibility that his son could become king because his son was Catholic. They invited James’ daughter Mary, and her husband William to overthrow the king. The Glorious Revolution took place in 1688.
