  • Sonja´s reply

"We’ve been communicating the expected reduction in orders for a number of months now"
  • Request for Die Spring Demand

Steven Kloss reached out Sonja Scheuer:
"The reason I am reaching out is we are noticing something we wanted to bring to your attention and hopefully rectify. It appears the demand is only firm for July and August and after that dramatically drops off. (September – December 2020 total is less than half of just July 2020’s requirements)"
  • Availability of RM for Die Spring Demand

Considering the whole inventories (Corry+ Mexico+ Interwire) we had sufficient material to cover the demand provided from Raymond (Open orders+ Forecast), even though we had an excess of inventory, 179K lbs after April 2021 ASR Forecast.
  • Blanket PO placed to Interwire

Blanket PO 3630568 to cover demand visibility on open orders and forecast provided by ASR.
  • Interwire order 3630568 acknoledge (confirm lead time)

"Some will be shipping from our MI warehouse and some will be from our MX warehouse. I know one item will have material from both warehouses.
For items we don’t have in stock we will be having the material produced in Italy to cover all the weights required on your order. This material will have a 16 week lead time."
  • MPS Pull in (ASR)

MPS report showed readjustment in due dates, new dates are earlier until 155 days worst case.
in other words, they move orders from June to January and so on.
  • Issued PO to support Q3

After the revision of the Pull in, we had to issue a new PO 3631041 to adjust the RM demand because ASR increase drastically their requirements.
  • Interwire policy pressure to be accepted by ASM

Due to the high inventory levels Corry left in Interwire´s warehouse. Bruce Massey request all material needed to be released from their warehouse within 6 months after arrival, if not they will not schedule any order received.
  • Issued PO to support Q4

We placed this purchase order to not hold the mill schedule and get an spot on 2021 production. Bruce Massey:
"We’ve juggled orders with the mill to squeeze these items into their schedule. If I don’t receive confirmation, our corporate purchasing will not hold the mill to this schedule and you could very easily lose the spots."
  • Issued PO 3631245 to release all Interwire´s RM stock

Due to Interwire´s contract, all material requested by Corry on 2020 needed to be release by ASM on April 2021.
  • ASM- Interwire Follow up

When we follow up the RM status, we notice there were having issues on the delivery dates, inmediatelly we involve supply chain.
  • Interwire reschedule- Extended lead time

    Bruce confirmed the shipping plan.
  • ASM priority list confirmed back to Interwire

We requested to change the shipping dates on critical materials to minimize impact to ASR.
  • Interwire open PO´s confirmed ship dates

Interwire confirmed back to Kristin the ship dates for all open orders.
Q3 orders are going to be delivered between Q3 and Q4.
Q4 orders are going to be delivered on Q1 2022.
  • Issued PO to support Q1 and Q2 for 2022

Orders placed for covering Q1and Q2 of 2022 with a 50% extra material
