This was out first post that we did on our blogs where we were talking about Recipes for a thriller. -
Psycho
We began looking at different kinds of Thriller films to get an idea of the typical things that we normally seesuch as the female chracter, hero and villain. We saw Psycho to see how Alfred Hitchcock made his films -
Our better media film, Alfred hitchcock thrillers and opening analysis
We managed to get three posts done today. We made an even better film than our previous one using camera and tripod and then we looked at the opening to movies and what catches the audiences eyes and we also looked at all of Alfred Hitchcocks most successful thrillers -
Using Youtube
This was the first time that we have used Youtube to upload one of our films so we had to get all of the settings right before we could put it on Youtube and release it to the general public -
Analysing Student Thrillers
We then began to look atthe work of the other students that had done media and looked at how they had organised their film from all the different shots and angles that they were using -
Thriller Survey
We then used surveymonkey in order for us to create a survey which we would giive to the general public so that they could fill in and ask them what they thought about the typical things that they liked or didnt like about thrillers -
Thriller Survey Results
We got the results that we wanted from the public and now we could begin thinking about the production of the film that we were going to make. Then we began a focus group so that we could brainstorm our ideas. -

Glogster Poster and Stroyboard
We began to make a story board of our ideas so that we would have a rough idea of what we wanted to do. Then we made a poster on glogster describing the story a bit and where we were going to do the filming of our movie. -
Studio Ident
Now that we were beginning to make our film, we would need a ident that we could use in the beginning of the film that people could recognise e.g. Paramount -
Studio Ident and Company Name
Now we have decided on what the animation, picture and name of ourcompany will be called and we decided to call it Tesseract Studios. -
Finished Film
After countless weeks of filming we have finally been able to complete filming and editing of the movie and then we were confident enough to post it onto Youtube
