The blogger blogs where created on the 14th of september, this is the first piece of technology i was introduced to, i used to record research and ideas, show development of the project and record evaluation, this was a highly important piece of technology used throughout the project from the beggining to the end. -
Prezi
This is the prezi application that i used in conjuction with blogger to present some of my work, this application was very helpful when i wanted to present some of my rsearch or evalutation in a creative way -
Emaze
Emaze is another presentation app i used in conjuction with blogger and alongside prezi. Emaze is a more professional and simple way to represent work, i used emaze when i had large amounts of information from my research or evaluations to present, including videos and images. -
Youtube
Youtube was a very important website and my main source when researching comparative hoouse music videos, also for inspiration for our own music video -
Video Cameras
The state of the art video cameras we used where the most important pieces of technology we used during the project, along with the memory cards, they where also the first pieces of equipment we where introduced to, we used this to record our footage and save it, -
YouGov
You Gov was a website i used for research when researching target audiences and fan bases, this was an important when finding out what appeals to fans of house music, -
Twitter
On the 21st of Ocotber the social media accounts for my group was created, these where used to keep our teachers up to date with our work and our plans, also to inform them where and when we where filming, twitter was mainly for safety purposes and update purposes. -
Instagram
I created our instagram account, this was another form of social media we used to update people on the progress of our filming throuugh photos and videos we uploaded on our instagram profile.. -
afterlight
Afterlight is a photo editing app i used to edit and create my draft digipak, i was able to add filters, effects such as colour leaks and add text with creative fonts to make my draft digipak (album cover and back cover) look professional -
After effects
After effects is a post production editing application used alongside premier pro. we used this application to edit the green screen section of our video. With after effects we where able to replace the green background with pink and texts on top of the video so it looked professional. -
WIX
Wix artist website
Wix was a very useful website creator application i used to create my artist website for my ancillary, i started off using an alternative website creator called weebly but switched to wix because i found weebly to complicated, while wix was much simpler when adding images and customizing my website theme and design to fit my artists theme -
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop is a professional photo editing application i used to create and edit my ancillary products, i already had images of the artist, i uploaded them onto photoshop into the album cover template and was able to edit the photo to my wish. I changed the filter and colour scheme of the photo, i was able to add text and add vibrancy to some images than others which made my album cover fit the theme of my artist and overall made my ancillary work look very professional -
Premier Pro
Premier pro was video editing application used to edit the footage. with this we where able to cut and trim clips, add effects such as speeding them up and slow motion and their where numerous amounts of other advanced effects whicch primier pro provided. The only video effect we used was adding a darker filter on some of the scenes for consistency and slowing down some clips so they matched the soundtrack
