I was born in Delhi, capital of India. -
Name
In my Sikh Religion for the naming of new born we go to temple and take the first letter of the name from holy Book, Guru Granth Sahib. And the First letter was D so my name is Darshan Singh. SIngh is common in all male and my nick name is Lucky. -
New House
In 1991 we bought our first new house in Delhi and we were so happy and we celebrated with our relatives. -
School
It was the time when I was five years old and I have to go to school. I was happy because I used to see others leaving for school and finally it was my time. However, it was not like what I used to think in my mind about school. -
Moved to Big House
I passed my fourth grade and in summer vacation we moved again in new big house in good location but I left my all friends and made new ones. -
Trip to Nanital
In my summer vaccation after fifth grade we planned to visit Nanital which is very wonderful place because on one side of route was big mountains and other side was deep valey. Where I live we don't have this kind of view at all. finally, we got there and this place was like dream came true. -
Trip to Golden Temple
After completing sixth grade in the summer vacation we went to visit Golden Temple which is in Amritsar, India. We first enter in the temple at 5 am and what we all feel as we enter in the temple that I cannot explain in the words. you have to go there to feel it. -
Graduation
First I was graduated in 2006 in India and then I did 11th and 12th grade again in USA. I was graduated again in 2008. -
Tour to Taj Mahal
This is the place which comes in seven wonders. I have waited for this moment for several years. It was rebuilt by a king in the love of his queen. It is located in Agra, India. -
Moved in USA
Finally, the dream came true. We moved in USA and it was a whole new world for my family but it was like a dream. The happiness was out of words.
