PRODUCTION SCHEDULE

  • PLANNING

For 2 weeks, we planned what are music video will be about. We had to research every aspect of it. This meant looking at similar music videos from the same genre to get an idea. It allowed us to know what the audience are likely to see in our video. We also looked at costume, post-production and location (we had to visit the sites beforehand to see if it was accpectable to use in our video).
  • PITCH

Pitching our idea to the other groups. This will allow us to get feedback about what they think about our concept. It also means we can change occurding to feedback we recieve.
  • LOCATION 1

We shall starting filming as soon as possible. Our first location shall be Kings Cross as it is local and easiest to get to. Here we shall film the artist on the viewing platform. This will show the city in the background. Her outfit is going to be black leggings, black crop top and her brand image; red lipstick. We hope to get different angles of her (side profile, mid shot, etc.)
  • EQUIPMENT PICK UP

As we will be using our own cameras, we don't need to pick them up from college. Howver, as most of our footage will be shot in the evening/night time, we need to pick up the dido lights. This will help us the footage, have the right lighting.
  • LOCATION 2

For our second location, we shall be in a car park. Again, this will only feature the artist. As the car park is poorly lit, we shall need a dido light. Again, her costume will be similar to the first location.
  • LOCATION 3

In this location, we are going to havde several different shots. The artist against will also wear black. She will stand out against the graffiti in the tunnel. We will also use the smoke bombs here. Just in case, we need to bring a dido light as in some parts there is poor lighting. We will also be filming some dancers in the tunnel. We are only planning on filming their feet.
  • LOCATION 5

Whilist in East London, we are also going to go over to a bridge over a dual carriage way.
  • LOCATION 4

As we want to capture the lights motif in our video, we will be filming the fireworks display in East London. There will be no need for the artist to be filmed. However, we are considering doing her silhouette but that all depends on the lighting and camera once we get to the park.
  • EDITING

Hopefully by the 9th Nov, we will have finished filming and could go on to editing. By starting editing early, we have enough time to refilm if needs to be.
  • ROUGH CUT

Before the final dealine, we will have time to show our first roughcut to the class. By recieving feedback, we can edit some things which needs to be improved.
  • DEADLINE

From our roughcut showing, we will have 2 weeks to fix whatever needs to be changed.
