    Politics- 100 Year's War

    Hundred Year's War- A conflict between France and England. There were three parts that the Hundred Year's War was divided into. There was no real end to the war, the two countries more or less stopped fighting.

    Culture- Black Death

    Black Death in Europe- It was spread by mice. It killed a large part of the population and because of this, the economy improved. It allowed the rich to buy and preserve art.

    Ciompi Revolt in Florence- It was a rebellion of artisans, labourers, and craftsmen. They did not belong to any guild and were unable to participate in the government.

    Great Schism divides papacy- Three popes claimed to be the one true pope and it resulted in a split of the power and divided the papacy.

    Wat Tyler's Rebellion in England- Also known as the Peasant's Rebellion. It was an opposition against an unpopular poll tax.

    Union of Lithuania and Poland- This was a union between the two countries because the Poles feared that since they had no heir to the throne, there ties to Lithuana would be broken.

    Italian Wars begin- Italy was fighting for control of France and Spain. Spain won the war.
