    In an early September of 490 BCE the Persian Empire had a battle between the Greeks and with Darius. The Greeks have won the battle, and Pheidippides had ran 26 miles from the battle of Marathon all the way to the Athens to tell them the news. The Marathon had name the battle: Greek Fighting Formation.

    #3 Battle of Salamis

    In September 29 in the year of the 480 BCE the Greeks had their final battle during the Persian War. The Greek city-states had fought against the Persian Naval. Once again the Greeks had won the Persian War.

    The battle of Thermopylae happened because Greece had reunited to stop Xerxes because they did not wanted Xerxes to take the Athens way from them. Sparta had held a mountain pass, then had found after 3 days a secret passage around the mountain pass that was given by someone who was a Greek traitor.
