Conflict #2
After carefully crossing the river we began looking for the next spot to pitch our tents. It was absolutley beautiful. The sun was about to set and i couldn't be happier. That is, until a giant snake appeared out of nowhere and i screamed and ran and tumbled all the way down a steep hill. Thankfully i was okay, except i was lost and couldn't find my dad.
A similiar situation happened to Phoenix when the dog scared her and pushed her off her path. -
The Beginning
My dad and I went hiking in the rocky mountians over the summer.We carried everything we needed on our backs. Often we'd here sounds as if an animal was following us.
Phoenix was traveling through woods and hearing animal sounds too. -
Conflict #1
We kept hiking and finally came to a river. The current was moving very fast so we couldn't swim in it. We noticed that there was a log that happened to cross right over it, but we would have to be very careful and balanced.
Phoenix had to cross the barbwire fence very carefully in order to not get hurt and to get where she needed to go. -
My Savior
I was petrified. How did i get so far away from my dad?. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE! I am calling for him but i think he walked the other direction on accident. Its already been 20 minutes and the sun is starting to go down. Should i stay where I am or keep looking for him? I decided to sit down against a big tree and wait. Maybe if i stayed in one place he would be more likey to find me. I put my face in my knees, shut my eyes, and prayed. Five minutes later I heard him calling for me and we ran --> -
My Savior Continued
towards each other and hugged. I was so thankful.
My situation is similar to when Phoenix was lost and found by a man who helped her find her way back to the path. -
Resolution
After we got back on track, we found the perfect place to pitch our tents and set up our camp site. It was a successful day!
Phoenix was caught off gaurd but at the end of her journey she made it to town and got what she needed.
